Flaxcomp® is the result of a partnership between two companies to build the first 100% recyclable biosourced composite : DEMGY and Terre de Lin, an expert cooperative and world leader in the production of flax and reinforcements for biocomposite parts made of flax fiber.

Traced raw materials, flax from a Norman and local production. The Terre de Lin cooperative, a specialist in flax from seed to reinforcement, grows the flax, extracts the fiber, combs it, then prepares it and produces a reinforcement based on flax fibers co-mingled with thermoplastic resins for use via a thermocompression process.

  Dedienne Multiplasturgy® Group becomes DEMGY. Flaxcomp® enters a new area to help you fulfil your most complex projects.

  

• 2017

  Creation of the Flaxcomp® brand, which illustrates the know-how developped by the group around the transformation of composite materials based on vegetable fibres.

• 2016

  Terre de lin and Dedienne Multiplasturgy® Group start a close collaboration to develop the thermoplastic flax sector.

  Start of the FIMALIN project : 4 years & 18 millions euros of investments.

• 2009

  Dedienne Multiplasturgy Group® founds the FIMALIN association with 5 other manufacturers.
